Choosing a Level:
There are 4 levels of NACP: Provisional, Basic, Intermediate, Advanced
These levels are based on experience and training.
New Provisional Advocate Credential Application
(note: this application has been updated effective 9/2021. Older versions of the Provisional Application will be accepted thru the November 2021 NACP Review, however, the 2021 updated Provisional Application will be required for any applications submitted for the February 2022 NACP Review and onward)
No experience in the field required, completion of a pre-approved training course required.

New Basic Advocate Credentialing Application
A minimum of 3900 hours (2 years) experience.
- Application Fee: $140.00*

New Intermediate Advocate Credentialing Application
A minimum of 7800 hours (4 years) experience.
- Application Fee: $140.00*

New Advanced Advocate Credentialing Application
A minimum of 15,600 hours (8 years) experience.
- Application Fee: $140.00*
